Great Hidden Food in San José

I love to eat good food…but Costa Rica can surprise you either way when it comes to restaurants.

Jonnas Eatz:

It’s a small place where Joanna greets you and offers the dishes of the day… always something yummy. Prices are super reasonable, amounts are quite big, specialy when you compare portions to most Costa Rican restaurants. I had an amazing sopa Azteca with fried queso blanco, avocado and quinoa (Joana’s addition to the original version of the Sopa Azteca) and my sister had a delicious Matzo Ball soup, with chunks of white chicken, dill, veggies in a wonderfull chicken stock. Then we shared a pasta dish, to die for. Full of mushrooms, veggies…. great dish. I wished we had more room for something else.  I’m definitely comming soon, and so should you!
Joanna’s Eatz has moved:

Now in Trejos Montealegre:
“Turn at Rosti Pollos. Go one street and turn left. Go straight across the intersection where Musmanni is. Keep going on that road, round the bend and then straight for about 700 metres. Over two yellow and black speed bumps and Joanna’s will be on your right just after the second one. White house with black gates.”

I have a another new restaurant to tell you about…. check my blog again during the weekend and you’ll be glad to know about this one as well.
