Best restaurants in Manuel Antonio

While visiting Manuel Antonio I was surprised once again with the great quality and variety of food.
The following are my recommendations in order of preference:

Emilios Cafe:

fish in lemon grass broth and veggies

A great coffee shop with a beautiful view of Manuel Antonio. Their menu offers salads, sandwiches, desserts and the daily specials on a board.
I went twice on my recent visit and had a wonderful Cabrilla Fish on a lemongrass broth, so light and healthy can’t wait to have it again.
I also tried the falafel salad, the greek salad and the chicken curry, all delicious. For dessert I loved the chocolate/coffee tart.
My overall rating: 4/5

Victorias Gourmet:

pasta with shrimps and spicy sausage

Great Italian/American option. Nice service and nice atmosphere.
Amazing seared tuna with chipotle sauce. Interesting pizzas and pastas.
Live music some days, check with them ahead of time.
My overall rating: 4/5

Mar Luna Restaurante:

Sorry, no picture!

Simple Costa Rican Seafood Restaurant.
Go for a nice inexpensive meal. I personally like the atmosphere of a very simple wooden bar with wooden tables. I shared a “Mariscada” with 3 other friends, delicious: grilled fish filet of the day, whole snapper, calamaries and sautéed shrimp.
My overall rating: 3/5
